In accordance with the order of the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine No. 158 dated 24.03.2022 "On the designation of the Publishing House "Academperiodika" of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine as a publisher of scientific journals which preparation and publication are carried out within the framework of the Journal Support Program of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine", the Publishing House "Akademperiodika" of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine is the publisher and producer of the journal "Plant Physiology and Genetics".
The journal was founded in July 1969;
The periodicity of the publication every two months – 6 issues per year.
Previous name before N 4 2013 – "Physiology and Biochemistry of Cultivated Plants".
Peer-reviewed scientific journal of open access. It publishes the results of original research, reviews, brief reports and methodological articles on the main aspects of physiology, biochemistry, genetics and plant breeding, cell and molecular biology, biotechnology and ecology, as well as articles on the history of science, reviews of new books, information about scientific congresses, meetings, anniversaries.
The journal publishes articles in Ukrainian and English with a summary on Ukrainian and English.
It is designed for a wide range of specialists in the field of plant physiology and biochemistry, genetics, breeding, lecturers and university students.
