Subscription agency «Ukrinformnauka» started its activities in 2009. The impetus for the creation of the agency was the decision of the Council of the International Association of Academies of Sciences (IAAS) that dealt with the initiative of the Council of Book Publishing at IAAS to launch a joint subscription catalog of scientific periodicals academies and organizations - members of IAAS. Objective - creating a unified scientific information space. In view of the feasibility of establishing a “Union Catalog of Periodicals Published by Academies of Sciences - IAAS Members”, the subscription agency «Ukrinformnauka»aims to inform scientists and professionals and students about the work of institutions and Academies of Sciences - members of IAAS, simplify finding and ordering academic journals and papers of scientists. Thus, the website of the subscription agency «Ukrinformnauka» has information on periodicals of NAS of Ukraine –general academic magazines, books, monographs, in printed or electronic form; get advice on the subscriptions for scientific periodical.

Since 2014 the subscription agency «Ukrinformnauka» has been offering digital services in assignment of DOI.

The Crossref Ambassador Program is an exciting and important program initiated in early 2018, and one which fully embraces a key strategic focus—to adapt to expanding constituencies.

Our Ambassadors are enthusiastic volunteers who work within the global academic community in a variety of ways—as librarians, researchers, publishers, and societies,—and all of whom share a strong belief in the mission-driven work we do to improve scholarly research communication. They support us by using their industry expertise, local knowledge, and translation skills to represent Crossref at regional events—providing training to our members in different languages, locations and time zones.

During 2009-2014 SA «Ukrinformnauka» has actively participated in exhibitions,

On 06.04.2010 LLC «Ukrinformnauka» was included in the State Register of Publishers, Producers and Distributors of Publishing Products.

The Organizing Committee of the National Business Rating conducts annual national ranking of economic performance of enterprises in Ukraine in various categories. Thus, based on the 2011-2012 weighted ranking results of evidence-based statistical methodology the LLC «Ukrinformnauka»in NACE 22.11.0 “Book Publishing”has:

- 23rd place in Kyiv by the amount of ranks of 4 nominations in financial activities;

- 32nd place in Ukraine by the amount of ranks of 4 nominations in financial activities

and has the right to be called “Industry Leader 2012” in its field of activity.
